Walk Report #23 Sun 18th November 2018 Bray to Greystones

Weather sunny; distance 12.4 Km, Height gain 252m. On another Sunday morning, cold but with the winter Sun shining bright, John Cruise, Ken Keavney and Dermot Gunn met at Ballinteer House. Hugh Sweeney rang to say that he had a puncture in one of his tyres so we drove past his house to collect him on our way to Bray. Walk Report #22 Sun 4th November 2018 The Scalp and Carrickgollogan

Weather sunny; distance 6.4 Km, Height gain 252m. There were four Lugs at the car park in Ballinteer, John Cruise, Noel Doyle, Dermot Gunn and Hugh Sweeney. Ken Keaveney was cooking up a storm, or vegetables or something, for his family and would not be with us. We waited for a few minutes, not unusual, in case someone else would arrive and we were proved right when Norman McLachian arrived just in time not to be too late. Walk Report #21 Sun 21st October 2018 Dargle Valley and Knocksink

Weather sunny; distance 8.4 Km, Height gain 252m, height loss 252m. There was some doubt about this walk because Hugh Sweeney had attempted to survey it some weeks previously and found it was badly overgrown and not really feasible. He promised to attempt it again before the date of the walk so that we would not go on a wild goose chase if things had not improved.
