When Do We Meet?

Our main walk is every second Sunday, meeting in Rathfarnham at 10am. For the less vigorous members, we also meet on Wednesdays.

How Much Will This Cost Me?

The annual donation is €40, which goes towards administrative expenses. This covers all walks, production of our bi-annual walks programme, and includes a nifty members cap. New aspiring Brothers, (or Lowly Asps), will, shortly after joining, be encouraged to contribute a small donation of €10 towards the running costs of the group.

What About Insurance?

Mountaineering (including hillwalking, climbing and rambling) is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks. People who take part in the activities of the Brothers of the Lug do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions and involvement. If you apply to join the Brothers of the Lug you agree that you wish to take part in the activities despite these risks.
